What began as a local fencing and deck company in York County has grown into a trusted source for pools, decks, fencing, railings and outdoor living products throughout South Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland.
Through that growth, one thing has remained important: personal service. Much of L&J's business has been built through referrals from satisfied customers — homeowners and contractors who return to L&J and recommend the company to others.

Our Story
More Than Four Decades of Outdoor Living.
L&J has grown along with the backyards and outdoor spaces of the communities it serves. What started with fencing and decks has expanded over the years into a complete range of products for outdoor living.
Where It Started
Larry Pyle establishes L&J, offering chain-link fencing, wood fencing and decks to homeowners throughout York County.
Making a Splash
Swimming pools are added, beginning L&J's expansion from fencing and decks into a broader backyard and outdoor-living company.
A New Generation of Materials
L&J becomes an early local provider of maintenance-free vinyl products, bringing PVC fencing, railing and decking options to customers throughout the area.
